Ever see this cartoon? I remember it...just randomly thought of it for some reason. I used to watch it quite often.
I used to watch it too. My favorite was Angelica.
My daughter watched that show.
Angelica drove me nuts ...
We even got her the movie - well rented it I think - when she was about eight ... to me more of the same but she was into it for awhile.
Tolerable; not quaint like Mr. Rogers, and not a royal pain in the ass like Barney or some of them other shrill things ...
I used to watch it too, and loved it!! it'd be fun to watch it now, for old time's sake. I couldn't stand Angellica, though.
I used to watch it all the time and if I happen to be somewhere where there's a little kid watching it I might still watch it, a little. LOL, growing up stinks. Mr. Rogers used to scare me for some reason. Too happy. I had to watch the Rug Rats every day when I was little though, and when I got a VCR I recorded them and watched them even more. I had most if not all of the movies, some of the toys; I was a little bit of a fanatic probably. LOL
I'm sure you could pop it into youtube for the heck of it. Lol. It was actually a good commentary on life.
Hahaha, I just had to look at this topic (the title and all) and just lol!
I remember when I used to watch that show-- I always freaking loved it!
To tell the truth, I think my favorite character was either Angellica or Tommy.
Omg, I just loved her evil cackle and stuffs-- just lol!
anyway, I wasn't what you'd call obsessed over that show, but yeah, I used to watch it a lot.
i used to watch it too on nickalodeon. the channel obsessed over it, with whole weekends dedicated to all the episodes, and all the movies.
i really liked the rugrats in paris, it was difrent to the usual animated stuff i found.
i also had the rugrats video game, where you played simple games with the diffrent rugrats.
think it got spoilt when all grown up came out, kind of spoilt the cartoon.
oh yeah, my brother liked them just as much as I did-- he also had that game (I think it's the same one Dan was talking about).
And I also agree that "All Grown Up" really messed up and spoiled the show.
I agree too; all grown up should've never happened.
I saw an episode of "all grown up" and it sucked. What were they thinking?
I loved the Rugrats, I had most of the dalls except phil and lil, I couldn't find them. LOL, and I had the first movie and went to see them live. I always looked forward to watching it right after school.
I think Tommy and Chuckie were my two faves.
"...and you'll never see your mom or your dad or your dumb old dog ever again. Ahahahahahaha!"-Anjelica
Hi! I LOVED Rugrats for a long time. My favorite characters were always Susie and Kimmi. I liked Tommy a lot too. I loved all of the Susie centered episodes, especially Tricycle Thief, No Place Like Home, Baby-Sitter Blues and Khwanza.
I think Tommy and Chucky were my favorite ones too. excuse me for my ignorance, but who's Susie? maybe I should know the answer, but...
rugrats, i heart lil! sort of don't mind kimi, and lothe all grown up!
I watched the show when I was smaller. I loved it! I wasn't obsessed over it though.
guess you could say I was; it made me sad when I'd miss an episode. lol.
oh i loved the rugrats!!!!! All my uptight friends said "don't let your kids watch it. Those characters are bad and your son and daughter will pick up their actions." Anyway, in 1998 we didn't have cable, but we went to florida for vacation. My kids said "mom, we watch it at melissa's, their after school childcare provider, and it is greqat. don't say "no" until you have tried it." Well, it hooked me. Loved angelica. Also liked the twins mom.
Did you all know that the woman who played Kimmy's voice was a blind lady? REad a really nice article about her in some magazine back in the day. Apparently she was and maybe still is a great voice artist who did lots of characters.
This past weekend re-watched Rug Rats in Paris with my grand daughter. It was such an excellent movie. When they sang that "i want a mom who'll last for ever" song, I boo hooed like a blubbering baby.
leo guardian, shame on oyou. i loved barnie. truly i did and so did my kids. yes, he was corny and politically correct. but it was a great show
I did too; Barney was awesome!!
bla! rugrats were better! I remember watching them every day when I was younger. I admit it! lol.
Same here about Rugrats! Susie was the Pickles' neighbor and Angelica's rival. She was a sweet kid and one of Tommy's older kid friends. She tried to protect the babies from Angelica a lot of the time. Her first episode was Meet the Carmichael's.
I LOVED Grandpa Borris and Grandma Minka! They were my favorite relatives besides Grandpa Lou! Toys in the Attic, Rugrats Chanukah and Passover were my favorite episodes with Borris and Minka in them as well as a few others I'm missing right now. I also loved any episode with Susie in it as well as Kimmi! And I LOVED Kierah!
